#46. Chautauqua Park

After our 3rd and Piatt Park visit we went east on the 3rd Street Trail, across Grove to Chautauqua Park.

The walk from 3rd and Piatt to Chautauqua was great. Coming around the bend we saw this red iron fence with cutouts of kids playing, and knew the park was going to be awesome.

The park sits on the northeast corner of Chautauqua and the trail. It’s an inviting and shady little park.

Features

  • Playground Base: Sand
  • Slides
  • Picnic Table
  • Park Benches
  • Fence: Surrounds Most of Park
  • Bathrooms: None
  • Swings: None

Mom Tips: This would be a great place to come with a picnic and maybe chill with a book in the shade while the kids play. The setup is great if you have “runners” since the picnic table is in front of the exit.
