Looking for a way to cool off after our day of “parkin’ it,” we went to Lincoln Park (1323 S. Topeka – http://www.wichita.gov/ParkandRec/CityParks/Pages/Lincoln.aspx). It’s right off of Broadway next to the Kansas Firefighter Muesum and down the street from the old Lincoln Elementary.
We hit the Little Tykes Viking ship first, and it was great!
Some websites have this park listed it as a splash park, but I would say that part is more an “interactive fountain.” But it was still awesome!

Mom Tips: Bring change for ice cream truck, as it frequents the neighborhood. Squirt guns or other water toys enhance the experience. No benches near play equipment, so bring a chair or blanket.
Kid Tips: Sully and Weston both said the Viking ship was the best!
