#10. Evergreen Park

This cute park is located on Arkansas, near 25th (technically 2700 E. Woodland – http://www.wichita.gov/ParkandRec/CityParks/Pages/Evergreen.aspx). 

Features:

  • Two separate play areas: one sand base, one rubber base
  • Athletic Fields
  • Basketball Court
  • Rec Center
  • Pool

Mom Tips: Since there is some distance between the two playgrounds, walking/comfortable shoes are a must!  Water fountains are hard to find, so bring water!

Kid Tips: It’s right down the street from our favorite ice cream place (Paleteria La Reyna). Go there!! The climbing thing (rope jungle gym on East playground) was awesome!
