#14. Naftzger Park

This little oasis in downtown Wichita (located north of the old Spaghetti Warehouse building on St. Francis and Douglas) was quite popular on this hot Saturday.

There were a lot of homeless people at the park trying to stay cool.

This park is frequented by local photographers because the beautiful landscaping.

Features

  • Gazebo with Park Bench Seating
  • Paved Walking Trail
  • Waterfalls/Aquatic Landscaping with Pond

Mom Tips:  Be careful photographing in this area. Many homeless folks are harmless, wonderful people. But some in this situation do not want to be photographed.  The park is lovely and a beautiful, but also popular park.  Nice shady spot to stay cool on a hot summer day!

Kid Tips: Weston’s favorite was climbing the rocks by the waterfall.  Sully enjoyed the water and watching items float down the creek.
