We found Country Acres Park after getting lost on the way to another park. What are the chances?! This little park is on top of a hill at 754 N. Country Acres, near Ridge and Central in west Wichita.
There was a basketball court and a tennis court, but the lines were all worn away on the tennis court.

I was trying to find out more information about this park prior to posting, and saw it was supposed to have a bathroom and other recreational activities. We didn’t see these on our initial visit on Thursday, so we went back for another look. This time we brought the boys’ turtles:
Mom Tips: Bring turtles, skates or balls as there’s really not a lot here.
Kid Tips: Weston – “It was a blast this time because we brought the turtles!”
